Anything that was bad internally is replaced. The pump is tested on a test stand where the idle is set and the output of the pump is flow matched for all the cylinders. The price includes a $150 core charge. I need the same kind of pump back that you order. This means that if you order a turbo pump, I need a turbo pump back. In March 2009 I set up a VW 1.6 diesel engine in my shop to further test (after the calibration) all outgoing injector pumps. So this pump has been tested on a running engine to ensure 100% quality.
